A SENSATIONAL SHOWCASE OF RISING STARS
"Who Am I" is a musical showcase featuring the organization’s talented young artists. It was held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 to a full house. This celebration of the organization’s one-year anniversary was held in Rahway, New Jersey. A large portion of the proceeds went towards a scholarship fund for children in need.
The Judith Ann Reynolds Performing Arts of Excellence Memorial Scholarship Fund is named after, and in honor of, the organization's belated Mother. The scholarship was announced at the event.
“Who Am I” was the organization’s debut musical showcase. There was a festive after-party, with music and refreshments, directly after the performance.
The Just Be You Performing Arts Showcase sent an uplifting message of inclusion, faith, and the importance of embracing one’s talents. Presented in the form of a short-musical, produced and directed by Mahogany Reynolds-Clarke, and co-created by the artists themselves.
The showcase was a complete success and received wonderful media coverage and reviews. In fact, the performance was featured on the cover of "Our Town Rahway". A local news publication in New Jersey with a large circulation.
