Meet the Performers!
Brody Ferrer is a talented actor of Just Be You Performing Arts. He will portray the historical 35th president of the United States (1961-1963). President Kennedy played an important role in America's Civil Rights Movement. During the Just Be You Performing Arts Workshop Brody will reenact President Kennedy's famous Civil Rights Speech. Brody is a straight A 3rd grade student; who enjoys playing sports, when he is not training to become an outstanding actor.
Kayla Richardson is a multi-talented singer, musician and actress of Just Be You Performing Arts. She will portray the legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald during the workshop. Ella Fitzgerald overcame many obstacles and broke records as a historical performing artist. With an extremely distinctive voice; Kayla is active in her community, school, and church. A sophomore in high school; Kayla also performs regularly in talent competitions, and is very sought after to sing at galas and special events in the New Jersey area.
Kaersten Richardson is an energetic 5-year-old dancer of Just Be You Performing Arts. She will portray the extraordinary dancer and choreographer, Debbie Allen, during the workshop. Debbie Allen is most known for her amazing role on the hit 1980s TV show "FAME". She is also a talented film and TV director. Kaersten is a bundle of laughter and creative energy. She is an enthusiastic student who loves to socialize, watch cartoons, and study the performing arts.
Kiana Queen is a multi-talented artist and poet. She is a versatile model, actress and singer; who strives to inspire and uplift others through her artistry. Kiana will portray the incomparable jazz legend, Billie Holiday, during the workshop. Billie Holiday had a unique voice that was loved all over the world. With a beautiful resemblance to this iconic singer; Kiana will showcase both her talents as an actress and a vocalist. She is active in her church and enjoys spending quality time with her family. Kiana is training and pursuing a professional career as a triple-threat actress.
